Kinesiology at Westmont
Alumni Stories
Madison Cherry ’19, earned the Peg Lovik Nicholas Senior Award for outstanding achievement in the kinesiology department, and provided healthcare in Uganda during a semester abroad while studying at Westmont. After completing the doctorate program in occupational therapy at A.T. Still University, she is now a licensed occupational therapist at the Mayo Clinic.
Caleb Jones ’23, graduated from Westmont with a double major in kinesiology and economics & business. He earned his MS in clinical health sciences and his DPT from the University of Delaware and now works as a licensed physical therapist in Colorado Springs.

Westmont offers 2 tracks to pursue kinesiology
B.S. in Movement and Exercise Science
This track puts particular emphasis on exercise science, pre-physical and occupational therapies, physician assistant, cardiac rehabilitation and other allied health fields.
B.S. in Movement and the Medical Sciences
This track provides coursework for students seeking to gain admission to medical school.
