Five economics and business student teams will present their semester-long research that culminates in a formal industry analysis. “Change and Innovation Industry Analysis Symposium” is free and open to the public Wednesday, April 29, at 3:30 p.m. in Westmont’s Founders Dining Room. Refreshments will be served.
The teams have examined all aspects of change and the role of innovation in shaping creation and growth within the industries of automotive, semiconductors, telecommunications, computer graphics and pharmaceuticals. The projects were completed during the spring course “Change and Innovation,” taught by David Newton, professor of entrepreneurial finance, who founded the college’s entrepreneurship program in 1990.
