Chapel CD Reflects a Rise From the Ashes

Westmont’s 2008-09 chapel CD, “All the Saints,” features several heartfelt recordings of worship in the aftermath of November’s devastating Tea Fire. The album is a snapshot of Westmont’s worshiping ethos and includes a special message from President Gayle D. Beebe about the fire. The two-disc set is on sale at the Westmont Bookstore and Campus Pastor’s Office for $12.
“We’re humbled and grateful to be able to do this project year after year,” says Joel Patterson, Westmont director of music and worship. “This year’s record is exceptional, both in the sense of the honest praise it conveys and the high caliber of sound production.” Patterson credits engineer Dan Bos for the high-quality recording, which includes Patterson’s “All of My Hope,” “Fully Yours” by senior Ruben Cortez and “Oh the Blessed Condescension” by senior Brandon Waybright.
“This album will be a wonderful benchmark for worship at Westmont and will provide encouragement and impetus to praise God in new ways in the years to come,” Patterson says.
