Orchestra to Perform Concerto Concert

The Westmont Orchestra performs a concerto concert, featuring works by Vivaldi, Mozart and Camille Saint-Saëns, Friday, Feb. 24, at 8 p.m. in Montecito Covenant Church, 671 Cold Spring Rd.; and Sunday, Feb. 26, at 3 p.m. in First Presbyterian Church, 21 E. The concert will be conducted by Michael Shasberger, Westmont’s Adams professor of music and worship.
Students Allyson Fredrickson, Elise Kimball, Alex Ronne and Sarah Shasberger will perform Vivaldi’s Concerto for Four Violins in B minor. Clarinetist Enoch Matsumura performs Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto. Soprano Brianna Stutzman sings Mozart’s “Dove sono i bei momenti” from the opera “The Marriage of Figaro.” Cellist Rebecca Shasberger will play Camille Saint-Saëns’ Cello Concerto No. 1 in A minor.
