Seniors Exhibit Their Talent

Westmont’s graduating art majors show their work in the Senior Art Exhibition in Reynolds Gallery Friday, April 17, through Saturday, May 9. The opening reception and award presentation April 17, 4-6 p.m., is free and open to the public.

Nineteen art majors will graduate from Westmont in May. Two have focused on art history; the other 17 have studied studio art and will submit final projects to the exhibition.

The senior project is self-directed, with students pursuing their choice of media and subject matter in a culminating work or collection. This year’s submissions include woodcut and silkscreen prints, ceramic sculpture, Polaroid transfers, an installation, paintings and works in other media.
