Summer Camp Season Begins at Westmont

The season of summer camps kicks off Monday, June 13, with an athletic camp, Sports Skills I, and a ThinkCamp, Somos Amigos. Sports Skills, run by Montecitan Jill Wolf, will feature about 80 children ages 5-10. The group will play soccer, basketball volleyball and softball, developing motor skills. Other coordination skills include juggling, stilts, pogo sticks, as well as individual sports skills such archery, tennis, golf and track and field. Registration is available here.
Somos Amigos offers a week-long, Spanish immersion camp led by Leah Sander, a teacher at Adelante Charter School. Campers will celebrate the Spanish language through art, song, theater and games. Somos Amigos will also be available the weeks of June 20 and June 27. Registration is available here.
