Three Westmont alumni will share stories about their business lives in a free, public panel discussion Tuesday, Oct. 19, at 3:30 p.m. in Kerrwood Hall’s Hieronymus Lounge. The talk, sponsored by the Westmont Internship Department, features Brendan Moore ’07, Emily Hughes ’05 and Joshua Higa ’03.
Moore is director of new media for Oniric Records of Oniracom, a collective of music industry specialists who partner with both artists and management.
Hughes is communications manager at CAbi LLC, a clothing company in partnership with the Heart of CAbi Foundation that provides microloans for women in poverty and donates to other causes.
Higa is shared services manager in the finance disbursements department at Amgen Inc., an international biotechnology company headquartered in Thousand Oaks.
“Brendan, Emily and Joshua will speak from their own life experiences, sharing the ups and downs that brought them to the gainful employment they enjoy today,” says Jennifer Taylor, director of internships at Westmont.
